I’m dying
and soon I will be dead
but through you
I will live instead.

Lying here will be my body connected to my head, reminding you of all the memories we collected and shared.

Don’t cry for me when I’m gone, smile for all the times we sang that little song.
Remember my face in your dreams and drink for us when I shan’t be near.

I only have one last message to say, with words that can fabricate themselves into play.

“I love you, my son, with an eternal flame; words can’t describe my sorrow and pain.
Especially when you come to visit while I lay on this metal frame”.

I’m dying
And soon I will be dead
But through you
I will live instead.
