Numb with hurt as the wind gushes in
Is it all worth this look of slim?

Wrapped up tight.

It’s not enough against all this might.

To the side
Against the front
Pushing me forward toward a corner
Shit, I nearly hit a tree
Luckily, it saw me.

Eyes watering,
Hair in my face.

I should have put a scarf on in my hasty state.

It’s coming to an end
I can see my location.

Keeping fit for my health has taken a pasting.

In at last it’s all gone quite
Blood saturates my body
Heart softens
Eyes begin to blossom
Forgotten
The pain that was once rotten.

A smile has replaced the shame
Of getting into this tidy frame.
