I awake every day,
it’s true I have to say,
an easy process for this character of the play.

I’m still here after all
and every day seems small,
especially when my fragile mind struggles with it all.

Up above, she looks straight down; peering at me with a steady frown.

I ask her what today will bring?
A cloud, some rain or maybe something highly profound.

To which she replies with a mighty sound!
“Gales of wind for you!
To tear your reality down”.

That is when I look up and say
to this young lady of mystical slay:

“Calm down now precious;
there’s no need to be rough!
I’m only a man of serious scruff”.

But in this moment of wonderful gay,
I have to say:
“She’s unique in every way”.
